GROW London: what to expect

GROW London: what to expect

With less than a month to go until GROW London starts, you may be looking to plan your day, in order to make the most out of your visit to the contemporary garden fair. This is why we've decided to give you a sneak peek of the outdoor furniture and products we will be bringing along with us, from 19th to 21st June...

French Chic by Fermob

You won’t be surprised to know that Fermob is one of the manufacturers presented on our stand at this year’s GROW. We’ll feature Luxembourg and Bistro which are two of the most wanted collections, of course, and we’ll also have the clever Tablabri, an all-in-one table and sunshade, and one of Fermob’s latest ranges, Kintbury. This set of table and chairs was created by Sir Terence Conran, who drew inspiration from the elegance of English gardens for his design. It’s pretty appropriate for this fair, don’t you agree?

For gardening enthusiasts, who we’re sure will be aplenty, we’ll also bring along some basket planters, which come in two sizes and are perfect for an urban balcony. The long basket planter is 54cm x 119cm x 25cm and the high planter is 84cm x 70cm x 34cm, so if you find some exotic plant at the fair that you want to bring home, come and see us! Since the planters are made from aluminium, like all of Fermob’s metal furniture, they are available in a variety of colours.

Talking about colours, GROW will be the chance for visitors of the Barbed stand (E8) to discover Fermob’s new colours for 2015, namely Lagoon Blue and Anthracite.

Furthermore, do keep an eye out for a few surprises on the stand, like the bold geometric lines of the St Tropez Lounger, with its ultra comfortable Luxembourg Low Chair frame and retro-styled braided yearn in bright bold verbena, perfectly accompanied by the new range of Danish-designed Pappelina rugs and runners!

Spanish Style by Gandia Blasco

Our stand will also feature the Stack collection, as an appetiser to the wide range of outdoor furniture created by the Spanish company, now available in our dedicated Gandia Blasco online shop. Gandia Blasco offers modern furnishings that truly make your outdoors a second home - the showcase house is actually the home of José Gandia Blasco, designer and president of the company! The Stack range is set to become a favourite with Londoners and everyone for whom space is an issue. Indeed, as the name gives away, this collection is stackable, and therefore easy to store away when you have no need for outdoor chairs, tables or loungers.

Danish Elegance by Cane-Line

Another of our much-loved manufacturers will accompany us to GROW, namely Cane-line. Cane-Line is famous for its modular lounges – in particular the Conic and Diamond ranges - but instead of bringing a sofa (a bit heavy, to be honest!) we’ve decided to showcase the Hyde Parasol. What makes this parasol unique, you may ask? Its design, of course! The Hyde Parasol was clearly designed by someone who knows how awkward it can sometimes be to have a pole right in the middle of your sunshade! The Hyde Hanging Parasol boasts a pedestal on the side and a very practical handle that allows you to rotate the parasol 360 degrees, with 6 tilt positions. Stress-free and easy to use, the Hyde Parasol is perfect to truly relax and enjoy the sunshine while being protected from UVs.

Another small but perfectly-formed design from Cane-Line being featured at GROW in the new range of colours is the On The Move table, a versatile side table that can easily be picked up and moved; even better, the table top tray can be lifted off to carry your drinks and canapés!

Italian Grace by Serralunga

Serralunga is one of our newest manufacturers, who mould plastic (polyethylene) to create softly-shaped sculptures. Most, not to say all of Serralunga’s creations are available in illuminated versions, giving your garden a charming look by day and a lovely glow by night. A must-see is the Paloma bench, a dove-shaped bench that is just too cute for words. We’ll also add a bit of light to our stand with the Alba floor lamps, which can double-up as planters, and the Alba ceiling lamps, which are all available in a range of colour combinations.

Unique Accessories for the garden

Last but not least, we’ve planned on adding some quirky items to our furniture and accessories. Among these, the chicest garden hoses ever, which are available in pink, grey, black, and golden, complete with hose nozzle and wall mount (including a Reindeer mount!). You will also probably melt in front of the Ohlala Watering Can, a rounded plastic can which you simply have to come and see! Finally, we couldn’t leave out the Vilda garden torch by Ester & Erik. This outdoor candle made from powder-coated steel and mango wood can be planted in a flower pot, directly in your garden, or even placed on a table.

If you’re going to GROW London this June, we’d be delighted to see you and show you all the gorgeous furniture and accessories we’re bringing! We’re Stand E8, and always happy to chat, so feel free to pop by!
