Lounge seating: the best of 2015
Are we the only ones feeling that spring is definitely in the air? Daffodils are blooming, the sun is starting to make an appearance more often than it has been these past months, and whilst writing this blog, the sun is even shining. What better time to get ready for the sunny days to come? Seeing the sun out makes us think of two things: firstly, it’s time to find the best outdoor furniture to get the best use out of our gardens or balconies , and secondly, it’s the perfect occasion to think of creating a wonderful shady zone in the garden, to prepare for those long summer days when we spend as many hours in sunshine rays as we can. Since we haven’t had our dose of sunshine yet, let’s focus for now on lounging it up in the sun!

Cane-Line Amaze Lounge: a 2015 exclusivity!
If Parisian chic and metal furniture is not what you’re looking for at the moment, why not take a look at the Amaze lounger chair by Cane-Line? The Danish company has been manufacturing cane, textured fabric, metal and wood for some time, but has just developed a creative new design with the Amaze range (which comprises a lounge chair, a dining chair, a sofa, and sunbed and a folding table). Designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen, the Amaze chair is an elegant piece of teak furniture with a simple design, created with comfort in mind. If you aren’t convinced yet, then it’s worth mentioning that the Amaze chairs are stackable, which comes in handy if your storing space is limited.
Coro SG1 Lounger: dolce far niente
Italian manufacturer Coro knows a few things about sweet idleness, as shown by its charming SG1 range, which is composed of an armchair and two loungers. We particularly love (it is a showroom favourite here at Barbed) the SG1 CL Lounger; made of reinforced nylon PVC for the seat and back rest (acrylic is also available), and satin stainless steel for the frame, this piece of furniture will definitely make a statement in your garden! Several colours are also available to choose from: white, black, orange, dove, and our personal favourite, green apple. You can also accessorise the SG1 Lounger by complementing it with an outdoor cushion pad.
