Fermob Luxembourg

Fermob Luxembourg

The original Luxembourg chair was designed in 1923 for the Jardin du Luxembourg, a park in the Latin Quarter of Paris and the meeting place of the French Senate. In 2004, renowned designer Frédéric Sofia created a whole range of garden furniture inspired by this legendary chair. While Fermob still manufactures the original chair for the city's public gardens, the new Luxembourg range is made with lightweight aluminium, rather than steel, but retains all the charm of the historic Parisian garden. With all the expression of French design and culture, the refreshing and timeless design of the Fermob Luxembourg garden furniture range uses simple and distinctive clear lines in all 24 shades of the Fermob colour chart to bring the summer to your balcony, terrace or garden. Combining the lightness and resistance of aluminium with the comfort of curved seat slats, plus the practicality of a stackable frame, the Fermob Luxembourg range includes low seats, a rocking chair, footstools, benches and dining sets that can seat up to ten people.

Fermob Cocotte

Fermob Cocotte

The Fermob Cocotte range of colourful tables are as versatile as they are fashionable. These cleverly designed low tables are made from steel and aluminium in Fermob’s workshop in Thoissey, France. Whether inside or outside, this lightweight range makes the perfect occasional table, and the smaller of the table can even be used as a stool, a plantstand or a footstool! The table tops can also lift away to become a serving tray, so start with drinks and nibbles on the table and, when the party gets going, you can lift them off and offer them round to your guests! Although these tables are lightweight, they are sturdy and hardwearing, and are available in a wide range of fun and funky colours.

Designed by Frédéric Sofia (the same designer mentioned above, who recreated the iconic Luxembourg chair), the Fermob Sixties range uses gentle rounded curves, perfect for sinking into, on colourful aluminium frames that are lightweight. The armchair, chair and bench feature a lightweight, ultra-resistant woven polymer coating, making this range hard-wearing and built to last.

Fermob Bistro

Fermob Bistro

The original iconic bistro chair was patented in 1889 as “Simplex” by Edouard Leclerc, the same year as the Eiffel Tower was opened. The folding chair became hugely popular with café owners on the boulevards of French cities and towns at the end of the 19th century, where they could be easily folded away and stored to avoid paying a license for a permanent terrace! The Fermob Bistro range has been developed from the original patent, a range so quintessentially French in style you might think you’re on the Rue Montorgueil. This distinctive range is bursting with charm and authenticity, offering chairs, tables, bar stools and loungers.
