Barbed at the Spirit of Christmas Fair
It’s never too early to talk about Christmas, and here at Barbed, we’ve attended the Spirit of Christmas Fair for the last 5 years, and we always have such a wonderful time that we simply had to return again this year. If you’re in London, why not pop down to Kensington OIympia and say hello? You will find us situated at stand G16, where we have a selection of our beautiful Danish Ester & Erik candles available. The Fair is taking place until November 5th, so you will be able to come and visit us here any time over the weekend!
It’s well worth coming along, because you will also find a whole host of hand-picked independent boutiques alongside our Barbed stand, each one offering a collection of unique Christmas gifts, festive decorative accessories, fashion, toys, and gourmet food and drink and so much more.
Surely this has to be the perfect way to kick-start the festive season?!A little about our Ester & Erik candles…
Ester & Erik are based in Denmark, and they have been producing candles of fantastic quality for over thirty years. Interestingly, all Ester & Erik candles are produced using methods that are centuries-old, which involves a time-consuming process as each individual cotton wick is dipped in liquid paraffin until it reaches an adequate thickness. The result is a beautifully crafted candle available in a variety of colours, styles and sizes (tapers, cones or pillars), that can create the perfect ambience in any room.
The advantages of this traditional dipping technique when combined with only the best raw materials are aplenty. Ester & Erik candles burn slowly with a steady flame, are odourless, allergy-friendly, emit no soot and self-extinguish once they have burned down.
