Gandia Blasco New Season
We've spoken about Spanish designers Gandia Blasco in the past, and how, through their love of design have created some truly inspiring and visually dynamic collections which have over time are solidifying their status as design icons.
This year Gandia Blasco have added some diversity to current ranges with some stylish colour additions as well as launched some exciting new products, and our favourite is the DNA collection. Designed by Jose A Gandia-Blasco, it is an outdoor furniture collection inspired by the shadows of the Mediterranean also drawing influence from the use of shadow in traditional and modern Japanese architecture to create a purity of space.
Another striking new piece is the Blau Light, a sculptural outdoor accessory which integrates easily with small terraces or could be used in larger contract applications. The light is visually distinctive and has the structural form of a tree and its branches, flooding light onto the area below or creating distinctive shadows in daylight hours.
