Founded in 1999 by Swedish weaver Lina Rickardsson, Pappelina has been a leading manufacturer of outdoor garden rugs for nearly 20 years in Dalarna. The company still produces its rugs in its Dalarna mill, which today weaves about 100,000 rugs every year; Lina still weaves some of the luxurious rugs, but the manufacturing process is supported by around 40 employees.
These rugs are marketed to 26 countries across the world, making Pappelina a much-desired and world-renowned brand. Pappelina may have expanded dramatically over the past two decades, but the essence of the company remains the same: producing quality rugs that are simple, stylish and functional.
