Bryant Park

Bryant Park

New York City, USA

Project environment: Public spaces    |    Collection: Bistro

In 1991, New York's Bryant Park was considered one of the most dangerous places in Manhattan, with an average of one death per day. At the time when Rudolph Giuliani was transforming New York, a lot of work was done by the Foundation that manages this garden to rehabilitate it. We were lucky enough to be associated with this operation and we started by selling 200 garden chairs to the Foundation. Today, Bryant Park has 3,000 of them. They stay outside all year round, day and night, in all weathers. It has become one of the safest places in Manhattan and a showcase for the cleanliness of New York.
